The Honey Bee

Honey is sweet substances produced by honey bees from the nectar of flowers or other parts of plants, gathered, altered and combined with a special substance and stored in the honey bee strokes.

Gland secretion of nectar is a plant that contains sugar, these glands called Nektaries. In plants, there nektaries contained in the flowers and called on the floral nectaries and other flower called extrafloral nectaries. In cotton plants, nektaries lies in the flowers.

Field Worker Bees & Household Worker Bees

Bees were divided into three castes, it was based on tasks and their respective roles. The first is the Queen Bee has a female gender, have the task of laying and maintaining the stability of the colony. The second are male bees, has the task of marrying a virgin queen bee. The third is worker bees, female, has a duty to do all the housework and field.

Worker bee different tasks based on its age, this difference was due to changes in the physiology of the bees themselves.
